Weird Al had music fans going crazy last month when announced not only the amazing lineup for the Bonnaroo music festival, but also announced that he’d be performing at some point throughout the weekend. Now, he’ll be busy for some time before June, when the actual festival takes place, as he’s going to be on tour until that time!
With his tour starting in just a month, on April 10 at the Memorial Auditorium in Raleigh, NC, it’s unlikely that he’s going to have another album to promote during this road stint. But with his Grammy-nominated Alpocalypse from 2011 still being so popular among fans, it’s likely that he’s going to be performing a number of tracks from that album. They include parodies of Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Bruno Mars, and T.I.
Along the way Weird Al will be visiting cities such as Knoxville, Jacksonville, Nashville, Kansas City, Calgary, and Tacoma, all in the month of April. With no dates scheduled for May, it’s unknown whether Weird Al will be taking a small break, or if he’s just waiting to add more dates to the schedule. He does pick things back up in June though, visiting Port Chester, Bethlehem, and Sault Ste. Marie before heading to the Bonnaroo festival sometime most likely on June 15 or 16th (he’s in other cities during the other dates of the festival.)
